About Us

Hi, I'm Katelyn Schneider, owner of Bee Bloomin' Florist here is my story. 

I created Bee Bloomin' Florist on a feeling, love. Love for my mom Bernadette.

My mom passed away from a rare disease called Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) in 2017, shortly after I began creating bouquets to bring to her grave.

Beauty in the midst of grief. 

My eyes were opened to a whole new beauty I didn't understand before grief. I started working in the floral industry to see if my new passion could turn into a dream.

I LOVED it!

The flowers brought me the joy I was lacking and I could see the joy they brought to others. I decided I wanted to be more involved in supporting local NC farmers and sustainable floristry so I started my own business focused on just that.

Bee Bloomin' Florist bloomed into a business in 2021. I want to add joy and hope to others. Life's too short, buy the flowers!
